Piccadilly Line takes me home

Getting lost in London is the best way to get to know it. So I got lost, many times. After I found myself at Starbucks drinking latte, I knew I would absolutely love living here. Here are some photos I took today. Sorry about the quality! I used my Canon Ixus 105 instead of my systen camera which would've been better. Anyways here's what I saw.

Tomorrow I will unpack some of the book boxes and learn how to use the dvd-player. Don't know if I have time to do anything else. ;D Only two weeks till Bastian brings Flow here! And of course it's awesome to see Bastian too. I miss ya! <3

Behind brown eyes

As some of you may know I'm addicted to music. I started piano lessons when I was 6 and learnt to play guitar when I was 14. My piano doesn't fit in my apartment so I have to settle for keyboard. It's not nearly as good as real piano but it does. My piano is Yamaha and I think it's te best. I've tried other pianos but they don't sound right. But you cannot argue about taste. :)

I don't love only playing music but also listening to it. Nothing is more fun that listening to music in the car full of friends. I would love to do a roadtrip with my pals. We could have some summer mix cd and we could sing along and be crazy. Doesn't that sound just awesome?

Last week I was writing a letter to my grandma. It was weird to write in Finnish. I'm so used to write only in English. :P My family thinks it's weird that I have more non-Finnish friends than Finnish friends. But what can I say? I went to international school after all. Many of my friends from school are from some other country. Sophie is half-French, Bastian is half-Spanish. I'm half something. I still don't know what nationality my dad is/was.

Oh, it's that late already! I was going to go running but I don't know if it's a good idea. Maybe if Bastian will come with me. I'll go to call him. Have a nice weekend!

Breakfast at Sophie's

Last night I fell asleep at 4 am after watching three movies. I woke up when Sophie called me at 8:15 am and I wasn't happy at all. She had huge fashion emergency so I had to leave my lovely bed and be there for her because she is there for me no matter when I need her. So I went over to her place and there were banana-chocolate pancakes and walnut syrup waiting for me. I have to admit they were delicious! Sophie said she felt so bad when she realised I had been sleeping. She's such a good bestie. <3

After I came back home I took Flow for a walk and then called Bastian. It felt like we hadn't seen each other in ages and I missed him so much. He was just about to go to the park to play soccer with his friends so I promised to go to watch them play. It was hilarious! Bastian is actually good at soccer but the other guys weren't.

I was going to write something smart but I forgot what it was. People who read this may think I'm just another dumb blond but actually I am not. I'm not shallow either.Hello, I read the Guardian and other newspapers. And I'm interested in politics and concerned of global warming and stuff. Although I don't write about them it doesn't mean I don't think about them. But anyway since I can't remember what I was going to write I'll go to buy crisps and continue my movie marathon!

The voice of summer

Sorry guys I haven't posted anything for so long time. I just haven't felt like writing. Shocking, I know! Usually I write 24/7 but maybe it's good to take a break every once in a while. I just wish a break would mean laying on the beach sunbathing but no, it means working. Double shifts. Kill me now! I love my job and don't mind the extra money but if I continue like this Im going to go nuts. That won't be pretty.

So a lot has happened after my last post here. I travelled to Turkey with my mom and we spent there a lovely week sunbathing and relaxing. When we came back my best guy friend, Bastian, told me he LOVES me. And I confessed that I had had a crush on him for very long time. And I decided to go to college in London. Not only because Bastian goes to Birmingham but also because London is one of my favorite cities in the world. Although the weather could be more sunny and warm. But at least they have Starbucks! And Camden which is really cool place.

I'm excited to move to UK but it's a bit scary too. I've never lived or spend more than a month abroad if you don't count my exchange year in US of America. Great times, great times. <3 At first I was going to choose on campus accomodation but then my aunt told she'll move to New York for at least a year and said I could live in her apartment I thought it would be better option. Why to waste money? It's not like I have too much money and could pour it down the drain. The tuition costs a lot so I'm happy that I don't have to pay rent.

I'd better publish this post before my laptop decides to delete it or do somehting else as annoying. Will post more soon!

Sorry for the long silence but I've had so much going on. I broke up with my boyfriend and it wasn't easy for me. He is the biggest jerk I've ever met but I really loved him. He hurt my feelings really bad. But I'm trying to move on. My friends have been there for me and I appreciate that mora than they can even imagine. Thanks huns! <3

Hurt me and I show you how much I don't care

I have to make one of the biggest decisions of my life and my closest peeps aren't making it easy for me. I graduate on June 4th and hopefully start college in September. Where? Don't know yet. I have conditional offer from King's College London (<3) and also from Uni of Glasgow but I applied for couple of school in Italy and Finland too and I'm not sure where I want to be next year. My boyfriend wants me to move to Italy with him. He is going back there in late July but I want to stay here until school starts again. So he got mad at me and we aren't talking to each other. I'm afraid that this is the end of our relationship and it makes me sad. Maybe we're both too young. At least I am.

Hey there. Yeah, I mean YOU. K, I'm bored out of my mind. Tonight we (me + my awesome friends Char, Elle and Sara) go for a picnic. I'm responsible for drinks and I went to Alko (national liquor company) to buy something girly. Tomorrow we'll have "wedding" to attend, i.e. we shall watch Kate & William's wedding and drink champagne and dress up properly. We have even hats!

Never give up

First day at work after vacation. Fun. Not. I woke up at 6 and my shift started at 7. From 9 to 11.30 I had nothing to do so I surfed on the net with my lovely iPhone.I boss thinks I'm insane because I first cried and soon after that I laughed my ass of. I was MCMBing, that's the reason for my behavior.

K, that may not look delicious but it is. I love pasta and Italians make world's best pasta. I'm not a good cook but I'm learning all the time. Yesterday I made my very first Italian dinner: polenta with baccala. This is funny, I mean the fact that I'm not used to cook, because I love baking. I make cupcakes, biscotti, pies, whatever sounds good. Today I'm going to make Nutella crostata. I love Nutella! :D

Who says you're not perfect?

I'm on my way to the airport (Fiumicino) with my bf and his family. I'm so glad this visit is over although I don't wanna go back to home. It has been exhausting to act like normal person. Just kidding! For reals we had to sleep in different rooms and all we get to do when his parents were there was hold hands. Of course we tried to spend as much time as possible outside to house alone. ;)

I like girly drinks. Like those jelly drinks. And Sex on the beach, Strawberry daiquiri and so on. I do not drink alcohol very often but when we have girls night we go to bar and have fun. It's that innocent. :) I don't want to lose control, I don't like that feeling. And I can't drink much because it makes me feel sick. And throwing up is one of the things I truly hate.

Yesterday we went to Vatican City to see the Pope. It was awesome. :) Today I have been packing my clothes and I had to buy a new suitcase 'cause I have bought so much clothes. Hope I won't have to pay extra for overweight luggage..

I love dancing! I do not dance ballet anymore because I'm too tall for that but I do capoeira (it's mix of dance and martial arts), lyrical jazz and show/disco. Dancing is so fun and it keeps me fit. :P I'm so diappointed we don't have cheerleading at school's. It would have been my kind of sport. Of course we have sports clubs that organise cheerleading but it's not the same thing.

I sat four hours in a train. Let me tell you one thing about Italian trains: they are ALWAYS late. Last time when I was in Italy there was a storm and all trains were late. I had to wait 5 hours at the station and the first train never arriveded so I went to change tickets to next train and the booking clerk just said "It will come, it is not cancelled" although the screen behind him said my train was cancelled. Do you know how hard it is to explain these things in English to an Italian? Never try, trust me! :D

Before I go to picture challenge, I have something special for you. At the moment I'm in Venice, queen of the Adriatic. We arrived here last night around 9 pm and today we'll walk around the city, maybe visit one of the islands. Our hotel (hotel Caneva) is 5 mins walk from Piazza San Marco and also 5 mins walk from Rialto Bridge. This is my second time in Venice and first time when I stay in the city, not in Mestre. :) Here are some photos I took last time. Today I will take some more photos. :)
