Behind brown eyes

As some of you may know I'm addicted to music. I started piano lessons when I was 6 and learnt to play guitar when I was 14. My piano doesn't fit in my apartment so I have to settle for keyboard. It's not nearly as good as real piano but it does. My piano is Yamaha and I think it's te best. I've tried other pianos but they don't sound right. But you cannot argue about taste. :)

I don't love only playing music but also listening to it. Nothing is more fun that listening to music in the car full of friends. I would love to do a roadtrip with my pals. We could have some summer mix cd and we could sing along and be crazy. Doesn't that sound just awesome?

Last week I was writing a letter to my grandma. It was weird to write in Finnish. I'm so used to write only in English. :P My family thinks it's weird that I have more non-Finnish friends than Finnish friends. But what can I say? I went to international school after all. Many of my friends from school are from some other country. Sophie is half-French, Bastian is half-Spanish. I'm half something. I still don't know what nationality my dad is/was.

Oh, it's that late already! I was going to go running but I don't know if it's a good idea. Maybe if Bastian will come with me. I'll go to call him. Have a nice weekend!

Breakfast at Sophie's

Last night I fell asleep at 4 am after watching three movies. I woke up when Sophie called me at 8:15 am and I wasn't happy at all. She had huge fashion emergency so I had to leave my lovely bed and be there for her because she is there for me no matter when I need her. So I went over to her place and there were banana-chocolate pancakes and walnut syrup waiting for me. I have to admit they were delicious! Sophie said she felt so bad when she realised I had been sleeping. She's such a good bestie. <3

After I came back home I took Flow for a walk and then called Bastian. It felt like we hadn't seen each other in ages and I missed him so much. He was just about to go to the park to play soccer with his friends so I promised to go to watch them play. It was hilarious! Bastian is actually good at soccer but the other guys weren't.

I was going to write something smart but I forgot what it was. People who read this may think I'm just another dumb blond but actually I am not. I'm not shallow either.Hello, I read the Guardian and other newspapers. And I'm interested in politics and concerned of global warming and stuff. Although I don't write about them it doesn't mean I don't think about them. But anyway since I can't remember what I was going to write I'll go to buy crisps and continue my movie marathon!

Sleepless in Helsinki

No work today! And no more double-shifts, thank God. Past two weeks have been crazy. I've worked more than my boss (which isn't much btw) and I have barely had time to sleep. My bestie, Sophie, has been great support: She has spent hours drinking coffee and waiting for me to get home. Bastian as been the best bf ever with bringing me lunch and driving me to work when I was so tired I couldn't even drive. I love him for that. And for other reasons too, obviously. ;)

I'm trying to pack but it's hard to decide what to take with me. I'm allowed to take only 2 bags, both can weight up to 23 kg and then one smaller bag that can weight no more than 10 kg. But Bastian will drive through Sweden, Germany and France to England and he'll bring my lovely little dog when he comes. So I could do so that I take only the necessities with me and he'll bring the rest. Great idea, isn't it?

I'm going to watch some chick-flicks tonight and maybe also tomorrow. At least Clueless, Breakfast at Tiffany's (my all-time fave, I love Audrey!!!), Pretty Woman, The Women and Whip It. I hope you all have nice week! I'll be back soon-ish, I promise.
